Fairfield's education-related decisions are largely determined by a simple 5-4 majority vote by the Board of Education (BOE). The BOE has the power to change, not only educational policy, curriculum and oversight of the superintendent, but also holds the purse strings underlying the town’s educational system.
Did you know?
This is a matter of education and finance. Vote for candidates that have a strong background in both and the integrity to move our town forward with transparency.
For us to change the tide of rising taxes and shrinking educational programs for Fairfield students, we need to fill all 4 BOE seats (2 Republican and 2 Democratic) coming up for election this year with candidates willing to take a stand for both the students and the tax payer! The 2 Republican BOE seats will be largely determined by a Republican caucus vote on July 23rd.
We ask Registered Republicans to ACT NOW!
